Actress Taapsee Pannu and actor Aadi have come on board as the lead stars in the Tamil remake of Telugu hit film RX 100. The film will be bankrolled by Auraa Cinemas and will go on floors in September this year. The duo have worked together in Neevevaro, which is expected to release in this month. Talking about the original film, the Telugu romantic action film, which featured Karthikeya Gummakonda and Payal Rajput in lead roles was a huge hit at the box office. Made on the budget of Rs 4.20 crore, the film went on to earn Rs 21 crore making it one of the most profitable ventures of the year.
During the recent media interaction, Aadhi said, “The film is titled RX 100 because the bike has a special sound, very raw. The love story between the lead couple in RX 100, too, is very raw. When I saw the film, I felt it was more suitable for Tamil audience.” Well looking at the confidence of Aadhi, it seems that the actor is ready to entertain everyone with this raw character.
