Bigg Boss 2 Tamil: Complaint against Kamal Haasan for allegedly portraying Jayalalithaa as ‘dictator’ in the show

The versatile actor of the Indian industry Kamal Haasan has landed into controversy as a complaint is filed against him for allegedly defaming Jayalalithaa in his show Bigg Boss 2 Tamil. Advocate Louisal Ramesh, who lodged the complaint against the star said that she is will also demand a ban on the show. “Hassan and the production firm behind the show are portraying the late chief minister Amma as a dictator with an intention to bring disrepute to her,” she said.

“Kamal Haasan, speaking on Saturday while compiling (the week’s episodes) will speak on similar lines saying what happened to such people who ruled like a dictator,” she concluded. “The Bigg Boss-2 programme is defaming Amma, who gave a peaceful rule, by portraying her as a dictator. The show should be banned and legal action should be initiated against Kamal Haasan and producer Endemolshine India,” Mr Ramesh said in the complaint. On the professional front, Kamal Haasan is currently busy in promoting Vishwaroopam 2, talking about it, the film also stars Shekhar Kapur, Waheeda Rehman, Rahul Bose, Pooja Kumar, Andrea Jeremiah, Jaideep Ahlawat, Nasser, Anant Mahadevan, Yusuf Hussain and Rajendra Gupta. The Hindi version of the film is presented by Rohit Shetty and Reliance Entertainment. Talking about the trailer Kamal said, “This film is very close to me and everyone who is a part of this film has worked very hard… It is the faith of the people in our work that makes us stronger. I hope you all like what we have made with love and passion for you all.” Vishwaroop is set to hit the screens on August 10 and will be released simultaneously in Tamil and Telugu versions.
